This video  is different from all other ART VIDEO’s in that it shows the work of Nicolai Fechin and tells about the teaching of this great Artist instead of being a straight instructional tape. Fechin did not allow students or spectators to watch him paint. In class, he would grasp students brushes near the bristles and, with the nadle, make thrusts at their canvases to emphasize his point but would not paint on their canvas. The reason being that if he did they would not touch the canvas in order to preserve his work.
